Julie Werbrouck Bodle MDE, assistant director of the school, holds her Master Certification in dance from Chicago National Association of Dance Masters and has served as Board Member, Sergeant-At-Arms, Treasurer, Fifth, Fourth, Third Vice-President and President. In her five-year term as Principal she was responsible for hiring the national faculty including during the 100th Anniversary. She will hold the three-year term of President beginning in August 2016. Literally “growing up in the studio,” Mrs. Bodle took advantage of the tremendous artistic and educational exposure and has utilized this knowledge in her own dancing and teaching. A member of Patchwork Dance Company since its inception, Julie has been called, “an outstanding performer” by critics. She assisted with Patchwork’s performance tour of England and Scotland, the school performance tours both here and abroad and directs the performing group of the school, the Apple Corps Dancers. She headed the half-time performances of Notre Dame Women’s basketball for both the Irish Superstars and Irish Silver stars. In addition to dance classes, she was Assistant Director of Academy Arts Preschool. Her extensive educational and performance experiences make her a teacher’s teacher.
