Creative Movement - Ages 3-4

This program for 3-4 year olds, introduces young students to the joy of movement through age-appropriate ballet terminology, music, and concepts. Your child will have the opportunity to explore and grow, learn to listen and follow directions, create and discover, and build relationships and self-confidence.

Pre-Ballet - Ages 5-6

Pre-Ballet introduces young dancers to the age-appropriate movements and terminology of ballet. Your child will have the opportunity to explore and grow, learn to listen and follow directions, create and discover, build relationships and self-confidence.

June 9, 11, 16, 18 from 6:00-6:30pm

Primary Sampler - Ages 6-7

This special combination class provides students with age-appropriate ballet technique in a fun and creative environment as well as basic jazz movements to up-beat music. By offering these two dance styles in this combination class, students are able to experience a sample of both styles. There is crossover in terminology and movement for both ballet and jazz, which reinforces movement in both styles.

Jazz/Hip Hop - Ages 8-10

This blended style of dance is a combination of jazz and hip-hop. It includes movements of a percussive nature and is an opportunity for young dancers to experience the basics of each style. Jazz dance consists of isolations, movements that take you across the floor, leaps, jumps, and turns. The movement of hip hop is down lower to the ground including locking, breaking, and more techniques.

Royal Adventure Camp - Ages 3-5

This 3-day camp on June 23-25 from 10am-noon is a royal inspired dance adventure waiting for your child! As we travel down Royalty Lane, we’ll bring all the wonderful characters and music from the movies to life. This camp will be an enchanting experience for the young dancer who lives in your castle!

This camp invites dancers to dress like their favorite princess and enjoy stories, dance fun, crafts, and a royal snack along with other princess excitement. We’ll engage the imaginations of dancers ages 3-5 for enjoyment and memories.

Pop Star Camp! - Ages 6-9

This 3-day camp on July 28-30 from 10am-noon is a mashup of current pop stars to make every moment extraordinary!
We’ll dance, do crafts, have a themed snack, create memories and most importantly, be ourselves!

This camp invites dancers to dress like their favorite princess and enjoy stories, dance fun, crafts, and a royal snack along with other princess excitement.

Musical Theatre Mashup - Ages 7-11

All things musical! This class will focus on musical theatre dance, which is a type of jazz dance.

Wicked, High School Musical, Annie + more! Students will learn about different musicals, dance to music used in those musicals, have time for musicals crafts and more!

Dancers should wear anything comfortable to move in and go barefoot.

Class days are July 7, 9, 14, 16 from 6:30-7:45pm.

Musical Theatre Mashup - Ages 7-11

This 3-day intensive on July 14-16 from 10am-noon will cover the fundamentals of modern dance: contract and release, fall and recover, spiral, suspend, floor work, inversions and more. Modern dance is also recognized through various improvisation methods. Dancers will also learn about the different modern techniques and pioneers. Modern technique and styles vary and often combine into what is known as contemporary style.

This is great for dancers new to modern, or for dancers who want to tune up their technique.

 

Turns and Leaps Intensive - Ages 9-14

This 3-day intensive on July 21-23 from 10am-noon will leave students feeling confident in their turns and least!
Improve your pirouettes with this intensive and flexibility for leaps! Dancers will learn a variety of turns and leaps that will take them across the floor.

This intensive will focus on leaps and turns that are mainly used in jazz, but crossover into ballet and modern as well.
