Modern is a style of dance that started as a rebellion of ballet dance and its structure. This style  has been called “organic” in its movement and is used to convey new awareness of inner and outer expressions.

Dancers study body movement through the techniques such as contract and release, fall and recovery, spiral, through floor work and more. 

Modern classes are available to students beginning at 10 years old.
